How to join
Where/when we rehearse
We rehearse every Monday (except bank holidays) from 8pm – 10pm at Holcombe Hockey Club
What standard playing?
If you want to feel like you are able to live with the music we play and the standard we play at then something like an ABRSM grade 5 or higher is probably about right. However, don’t be put off if you don’t have a certificate to wave around: plenty of us have never taken an exam. There’s quite a bit of sight reading each week…

Who do we particularly need?
While we are happy to have lots of players for each instrument (so that we can get a full band to every gig), there are a couple of spots that we would really like to see filled:
- Bb bass
- Front row cornet
- Tenor horn
How to book
- What sort of gigs we play
We play or have played:
- Bandstand style entertainment – 2 sets of 45 minutes each
- Charity fundraisers
- VE day celebration concert / service
- Christmas concerts and carol services
